NZ Herald reports case where I obtained interim injunction on behalf of business directory Yellow, barring the owner of yellow.net.nz from using that domain name pending trial.
NZ Herald has published an article regarding a High Court proceeding where I obtained an interim injunction on the basis that the vast reputation that Yellow Holdings Limited and its predecessors had accrued in the "Yellow" brand through its use on "Yellow Pages" and related business directories over many years, was sufficient for the High Court to regard the word "Yellow" as an instrument of fraud when used by another trader as a domain URL.
